Fat Burners: Must Have Ingredients

Fat burners or fat strippers are widely used world wide. Many average joe gym goers or people who rush diets tend to consume any fat burner they find. They think a fat burner is a magic diet pill, hoping it will transform their body in 4 weeks. Unfortunately, this isn’t the reality. The reality is, fat burners are great tools to use once your training and nutrition is on point. With 1000s of fat burners on the market and insane marketing gimmicks on every magazine page, how do you know which one to buy? Listen to celebrity endorsements? Listen to Youtubers? It sometimes can be difficult to trust anyone in the supplement industry. Talking from experience, most people don’t care about you, your results or your safety. Make sure you educate yourself firstly before jumping on any supplement bandwagon. This article will set you on the right track and will give you all the resources and recommended experts you need to make a safe and informed decision.

Keep it simple

Fat BurnersMy first piece of advice would be to keep it simple. Caffeine and green tea have shown in countless studies they help reduce appetite, increase metabolism and help boost fat loss. You can buy these for extremely cheap in bulk. Try this combo first and see how you get on. You should expect elevated energy levels and increased fat burning. Most fat burners contain these two and other unproven ingredients. More isn’t better.

Stepping it up

Fat loss progress always stalls. To overcome this try reducing your calories slightly each week and your fat loss should keep progressing. If you’re finding the last 1-2% is not moving it’s time to look into other proven compounds. The first to look at is L-carnatine. This amino acid helps transport the fat from the cells into the blog stream to be used up for energy. It’s better in a fasted state so try this in the morning before your fasted cardio. You should notice a difference and maybe enough to overcome your plateau.

Yohimbine HCL

Although Yohimbine HCL hasn’t been proven as much as caffeine and green tea it certainly shows promise. According to the genius Lyle Mcdonald (check his website here) yohimbine helps the body remove stubborn fat which is what most people struggle with. It must be taken in a fasted state as it does not work if you consume food before it. It’s best to take it in the morning or at least 4-5 hours after a meal.

5-Hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP)

This compound differs from the above ingredients as this helps elevate your mood. By doing this, it can help you push through with your diet and stop yourself from feeling down and lethargic. It’s important to feel good while dieting as it can be a long process of 12-20 weeks. That’s roughly 1/3 of the year. You don’t want to waste any time feeling down and miserable. Look into this ingredient more and see if it suits your needs.
